Analysis of Blackout

Hi again;

Some friends asked me to tell my opinion about Blackout, well they were right. I’ve made this blog to discuss about Linkin Park’s songs and their lyrics contents, so I think it is the time. I will be happy if you support me by your own opinions.

Analysis of Blackout:

1.       Why this music attracted most of the people?

When I heard this song for the first time the only thing that I could say was, WOW

I test it on another person that had never heard any songs of LP and reach the same react! (That person always listens to traditional music!!!!!)

I think this react is because of 2 things: first amazing roughness of Chester’s screams and second the beautiful rhythm of eastern music, they artfully mixed with modern style of music.

I love these kinds of music! :-D

2.       What is this music talking about?

It’s obvious this song includes some complaints of a damaged person, but who? Why?

I think this person is symbol of an unsatisfied person who has hurt from his society or another person.

Do you see There are some people makes you seek at heart and nervous just with their act?

I think this song is a complaint to them_ I'm stuck in this bed you made /Alone with a sinking feeling.

And at the end with disappointed describes his feeling.

3.       Whose singing do you like better?



Chester Bennington & Mike shinoda



All of my friends know that I love Chester and absolutely my answer is clear, but I really admire Mike’s singing. He shows that he can always make us amazed with his great voice. (I really didn’t know he can sing like that!)

But in the end…

I love this music with whole my heart and enjoy that any time I listen.
